I've been mad about "24" for these three months. I can borrow DVD's in Japan up to season 3.
I'll end seeng season 3 tommorrow. Oh, I may not be able to sleep tonight.
Dramatically, "24" is well developed TV program. I don't care about "real time frame." Most important point of this drama is "Who is a bad guy?" of " Who is a spy?" The characters are very attractive.
In the U.S. ,The characters on the TV are changed their characteristics quite often. For example, Shery in "24" was a perfect first lady in season 1. Even if she divorces to David, she is still a understandable woman and also a mother. But in the other seasons, she becomes a trouble maker. That kind of change of characteristics is never happened in Japanese drama. They are well controlled by writer and producer. But it is NOT interesting. It is interesting for us that the drama can't be imagin how the story goes.
"24" is a good example for us to make a good thriling drama.
